This is a really hard question to answer, because sometimes seemingly harmless red spots that are not healing can be a sign of skin cancer, and also sometimes a harmless-appearing red spot can be something benign, like an angioma.

Even better, come into a board-certified dermatologist and let them give you a better sense as to whether this red spot is potentially dangerous or not.
