Monica Patel is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a strong passion for dermatology. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, graduating Magna Cum Laude with high honors for her outstanding academic performance. Prior to transitioning into dermatology, Monica gained extensive hands-on experience working in the emergency room, where she developed advanced clinical skills and proficiency in a variety of procedures.
As a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Monica stays up-to-date with the latest developments in dermatology. Her passion for the field first grew from her own experience as a teenager dealing with acne, which significantly impacted her confidence until she sought help from a dermatologist. This experience drove her to pursue a career aimed at positively impacting both people’s lives and self-esteem. Monica is dedicated to patient-centered care, whether it involves detecting skin cancer, treating acne and other common skin conditions, or helping patients restore their confidence through cosmetic procedures and lasers.
Outside of her professional life, Monica loves cooking, working out, and traveling with her friends and family.
