Dr. Pierce Deng graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with Highest Distinction (summa cum laude) and earned his medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. During medical school, he also received the Dean’s Research Scholarship to complete a clinical research fellowship at USC, where he studied inflammatory skin diseases and managed clinical trials for many of the new effective therapies for psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and hidradenitis suppurativa. After medical school, Dr. Deng completed his internal medicine internship in Los Angeles during the height of the COVID pandemic, providing care for hundreds of acutely ill patients in the hospital. He finished his medical training by completing his dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota, where he received world-class training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Deng is committed to high-quality and personalized care to promote skin health and wellness for all his patients. His mission is to work together with each individual patient to focus on their desired goals based on their own unique skin type. He also believes in educating his patients so that they have the knowledge and proper understanding to best inform their decisions on skin care, whether in regards to acne, eczema, skin cancer, or aesthetic goals.
In his free time, Dr. Deng enjoys music, playing guitar, staying active outdoors, practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and learning Spanish.
