Yvonne Huang is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in the field of dermatology. She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Minor in Psychology, continuing to earn her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Monmouth University in New Jersey where she received three years of extensive didactic and clinical experience. Prior to attending Physician Assistant school, Yvonne discovered her passion for dermatology during her time working as a medical and surgical assistant alongside one of New York’s top dermatologists, allowing her to gain years of invaluable experience in the field.
Yvonne continued her training with the excellent providers at The Dermatology Specialists, where she attained expertise in treating various dermatologic conditions and developing effective skin care regimens for patients of all ages, skin types, and ethnicities. She is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese and strives to provide culturally-competent care for NYC’s diverse population. In addition, she is a Fellow member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and has successfully completed the Diplomate Fellowship, an extensive training program that provides dermatology PAs with the skills and knowledge to practice with excellence.
Yvonne is dedicated to helping her patients look and feel their best and is a strong proponent of regular screenings for skin cancer surveillance and photodamage prevention. By working intimately with her patients and providing the newest advances in treatments, she ensures that they receive personalized care designed for their unique skin types and concerns, setting them up for long-term success. Her attention to fine detail and friendly demeanor allows patients to feel welcomed and comfortable when seeing her at our TDS locations.
Outside of the office, Yvonne is passionate about skincare, health, and wellness and practices Pilates and yoga on the weekends. She currently resides in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and enjoys dining out at the vibrant, diverse restaurants in her neighborhood.
